This week, miss Laney has started reaching out for toys that are held in front of her. At first, I would put the toy in her hand for her, and then she would immediately try to put the toy into her mouth. Now she reaches her hands out and tries to grab it on her own. She hasn't quite mastered grasping objects yet, but she has come a long way in the past few days. You'll notice in these pictures that she LOVES putting her hands in her mouth.

My first attempt at grocery shopping with Laney in the carrier. She calmly enjoyed it for about 5 minutes, then cried the rest of the way through the store. (I think she was just tired, and she can't rest in this thing):
